Pricing Structure for Portable Appliance Testing

At Safety-PAT, we believe in a clear pricing structure so that you can accurately determine the price you will pay. All charges are made on a per appliance basis depending on the total number of items to be tested.

There are no hidden charges – Our prices include out of hours & weekend service, labelling, test reports, equipment register, certificates etc. The list below shows our standard prices but please contact us for an individual quote to your requirements. The prices stated below are for Manchester, Cheshire, Stoke on Trent PAT Tests and surrounding areas. Please contact us for prices in other areas.

1 – 10 appliances – £25 site rate

11 – 250 appliances – £1 per appliance + £25 site rate (as above)

251 – 999 appliances – £1 per appliance

1000 + appliances – £ please request an individual quote

 

WE GUARANTEE TO BEAT ANY GENUINE LIKE FOR LIKE QUOTATION!!!

Example – A site with 20 appliances would total £35

(£25 for the first 10 appliances plus £1 per appliance for the remaining 10 appliances)

FREE MINOR REPAIRS!!!

Minor faults found during the course of the inspection will be repaired as we find them and the appliance re-tested.

All minor repairs are carried out free of charge, including the following:

  • Re-wiring of incorrect connections in the mains plug
  • Repair to faulty cable grips in the mains plug
  • Minor repairs requiring less than ten minutes labour
  • Re-test following repair if carried out on the same day as testing.

When working out the number of appliances to be PAT tested an appliance with a detachable lead i.e. computer, monitor, printer, kettle and such like. Leads are tested and charged as separate items. This is due to each one requiring a separate pat test (see FAQ and Our Process for testing equipment).
